Coconut noodle soup - The Laksa!! Peranakan style......

Often times, when someone ask for Laksa in Singapore... one would say Katong or Sungei Road areas....

Well credit has to be given when it is due.. they were once great Laksa dishes when their papas or grand papas were cooking... Fast forward to this age where passion overtaken by profit margins and globalization... they are simply riding on on the legacy left behind or the reputation that the one whom-started-it-all painstakingly build it up...

Anyway, nothing beats home cooked food because that is cooked with passion and lots of love...
ingredients are plentiful and you can always ask for another serving at anytime - now you know why I am fatboyjay... Haha

here is the photo of the laksa which my mum cooked from time to time along with the home made sambal (if you cannot eat spicy, please don't take a risk in it)

Enjoy slurping at the digitise laksa and shout Bo Jio!!!!
